In 2021, I graduated as a draftsperson. (Yes, mid-life career change!)
The role fulfills me entirely — my creative brain gets to fly with the possibilities of what a project could be. And my left brain gets a workout putting the design together (while mostly saying “WTF am I doing?!” ). Dad was a carpenter so I guess I inherited a love of construction from him. Feels cool to be carrying on a family tradition in some capacity.
Anyway, here is my first ever design-and-build project. It’s a tiny chapel on wheels! Totally random, but something I’ve been dreaming of doing since I saw one in America about 10 years ago.
